Discover how writers use words to “paint a picture” and create your very own picture book, complete with watercolor illustrations. Designed for students entering grades 2-5 next fall, Young Writers’ Academy offers students the time and opportunity to explore their writing interests and learn more about the craft of writing and picture book making.
This camp provides in-depth writing instruction and is not designed to be a remedial program. The Academy is facilitated by certified classroom teachers and class size is limited at 20 students to provide personalized feedback. Watch your child grow in their confidence and skill. Join us at the end of the week for a writing celebration with family and friends.
